Did you know...
The term millwright was originally used for centuries to describe the expert craftsmen who possessed a superior working knowledge of all aspects of mechanical arts and was looked upon as the foremost authority where manufacturing mechanics were involved. This elite group referred to themselves as “God’s Chosen Few”. They were the earliest of engineers and understood mathematics & geometry and the role that they played in the various manufacturing processes. The millwright was a mechanic of highest reputation and recognized ability, involved in all aspects of the engineering process.
Today, the term millwright has evolved to describe the skilled craftsmen who assemble, install, repair, replace, disassemble, and remove the manufacturing and processing machinery used by the various industries, the proverbial “Jack of All Trades”. Our millwrights oversee all aspects of the machinery installation and or removal process, including the loading & unloading, foundation preparation, positioning and precision leveling & aligning of the machinery.
